Many years ago, I had this amazing opportunity to travel from New Orleans to West Africa. As you may be aware, this journey was a very long trip to arrive at my desired destination.
As we traveled more than 15 hours from one side of the Earth to another, I can recall our aircraft flying through a dark and gloomy night.
But then something amazing happened on that flight! Our aircraft pushed through the clouds and on the other side right before our eyes (within seconds)- was a bright and sunny day!
In that short moment – our darkness turned to light!
Right now you may be experiencing a dark and gloomy season. And because of it, you simply want to give up and throw in the towel. But do you know that we serve a great and almighty God that can provide a great breakthrough?
The Bible tells us in Galatians 6:9 to not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up!
In Proverbs 30:5 it states, “For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning!”
Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that if we wait on the Lord, He will renew our strength!
