There was a time…
There was a time when I felt God’s words were not true.
There was a time when I prayed and felt He didn’t hear my prayers.
There was a time when I thought my prayers were not as good as the elders in my church.
There was a time when I felt I was not made in His image and everyday would not be a great day.
There was a time when I didn’t smile for “any reason” or really didn’t enjoy the company of the great family and friends that surrounded me.
There was a time when I felt God could do big things for others but definitely not for me.
But then He did it.
I don’t know how. I am not sure when, but He changed me. And now this time is different.
This time, I am walking in faith in Him. This time I believe all He says about me.
This time, I don’t have to accept or believe the lies of the devil. This time, I can expect, believe and more importantly receive the great things He has in store.
This time I am not giving up. This time failure is not an option. This time I am not throwing in the towel. This time I will not allow the devil to steal all that God has for me.
And yes. If you have been watching my walk and my journey, you know that I am now victorious. I smile for no reason. I love like no other. I believe the good in people.
I now expect that God is moving and now I can truly walk in His confidence.
I have let go hurt, failures and am moving toward the place of victory that He has for me!
Why?
Because this time I know His words are true. This time I see Him as I look in the mirror smiling back at me. This time I now know that He loves me like no other.
More importantly, this time I know that He will work every situation out for my good.
This is why this time is different. What time is it for you?
