We all have been there from time to time. You know, where we allowed thoughts of defeat to play out in our minds. Even worse, we sometimes create a partnership with negative thoughts and allow them to determine our destiny.
And of course, we know better. We know that death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21) and what we think forms our lives. However, since we are so familiar with the Word, we sometimes take God’s promises for granted.
Start thinking different
But this cannot be. The only way to see a true change in your life is to start thinking the way God intended. Yes I know what the doctor said; I even understand what you may have been through. We all have been through it at one point of another but the reality is we can’t stay there. There is hope in our future. God promises this.
But the key to victory is to change our thinking. Not only change it but stay there. In Colossians 3:2, it reminds us to keep our thoughts on the things above. Therefore, don’t waver but stay there. Keep your mind on God!
Fight back
When the enemy attacks your mind and says you can’t, you better fight back. And not just with a weak voice either. You have to strongly declare that you bind His lies and declare victory over your life! I don’t care what’s going on. No matter what, you have to declare and believe it. You have to believe that God will allow you to live the best life He has intended for you!
Your words have power
Remember in His Word it tells us that if we believe we will eat all things (Romans 14:2)! But it starts with you. I am a living witness. I have declared myself out of impossible situations and I have seen God work miraculously on my behalf. I am amazed at the way that He cares for me so much that He would do anything to take care of me. There is no better love than His.
So what are you thinking about? Change your thoughts! And not only change it but declare this time is different. This time is victory! This time you will win in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth!
Positive thought prayer starter:
Father God, I come to you and worship you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I declare this very moment that I have the mind of Jesus Christ. When the enemy presents negative thoughts in my mind, I will immediately speak back with the Word of God. I strongly believe that all of Your promises are yes and amen! I declare this day going forward that I am who You say I am, and my best is not behind but before me! I declare You are moving in the right direction and I rebuke worry or fear from my life. I declare and decree I have a sound mind.
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Amen.
