Many years ago, I had an amazing opportunity to travel from New Orleans to West Africa. The trip was long, and it took more than 15 hours to travel from one side of the Earth to the other. I can recall our aircraft flying through a dark and gloomy night.
But then something amazing happened on that flight! Our aircraft pushed through the clouds, and on the other side, right before our eyes (within seconds), it was a bright and sunny day!
In that short moment – our darkness turned to light. You may be in a dark and what seems to be a gloomy season. And because of this temporary darkness, you may want to give up and throw in the towel. But do you know we serve a great almighty God who can provide a major breakthrough?
The Bible tells us in Galatians 6:9 not to get tired of doing what is good. If we don’t give up, we will reap a harvest of blessings at just the right time!
Also, Proverbs 30:5 states, “For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning!”
Lastly, Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that if we wait on the Lord, He will renew our strength! Are you committed to praying, studying His Word, and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide you where you need to go? God can and will provide a breakthrough for you. But you have to hold on just a bit longer, and your darkness will turn into a great, shiny day!
