My brother and I often joke about my sister encouraging my now 2 year old nephew to use his words. The funny thing is she has been doing this since he was crawling:) As such, when he desires something and point she exclaims, “Use your words!”
But because of her persistence, these days at the ripe age of two, he not only uses his words but can shout out phrases such as “This is a rectangle,” “That is a polygon,” and other words that are well beyond a 2 year old vocabulary!
I often think that God also wants us to use our words as well. I think that it is not enough to just desire God to do something in our lives. I believe that we are to give God back His Words! When we are facing a situation that seems impossible, we have to locate scriptures in the Word and declare His Words are coming to pass!
Remember, God tells us He is not a man that shall lie. If He says it then it is so! So the next time when you have a need, call upon Him (Jeremiah 33:3). Don’t just whine like my nephew would do, but use the power of the Word!!!
Remember, God is waiting on you!!!
