Abba Father,
I come to You today asking for Your plan and purpose to be fulfilled in my life. I ask specifically concerning _____—if this is Your will, allow me to continue. But God, if it is not, please redirect me swiftly to Your will, purpose, and plan for me.
Your Word says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11). God, I desire Your future for my life and nothing else.
Because of this, I ask that You keep this door open (concerning this situation) if it is from You, along with other doors that lead to blessings, favor, mercy, grace, prosperity, health, love, peace, joy, healthy relationships, and divine purpose and direction. But Lord, if this is not of You, close this door and any other door leading to relationships, opportunities, connections, confusion, strife, or anything else not aligned with You.
Your Word in Isaiah 22:22 and Revelation 3:7–8 reminds us that You have the key of David—symbolizing authority—and what You open, no one can close, and what You close, no one can open. Please do this for me, Lord, so I may glorify You.
God, Your Word says, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death” (Proverbs 14:12). Because of this, I ask for clarity and divine discernment. Philippians 1:9 says we can discern what is excellent through knowledge and insight, so that we may remain pure and blameless until the day of Jesus Christ.
Order my steps in Your Word, and let no iniquity or wrong path become my portion. Be my Shepherd in this situation (name the situation) so that I may glorify You in every decision I make. Lead me in paths of righteousness. As I walk in Your will and way, be a lamp to my feet and a light to my path (Psalm 119:105), and make every crooked place straight (Isaiah 45:2).
God, I surrender my own plans and purposes for my life and declare that I am completely dependent upon You. I stand on Psalm 143:10 and ask that Your Spirit lead me and teach me to do Your will—and Your will alone. I pray the Spirit of Truth will continue to guide me into all truth, so that I will always know what to do (John 16:13).
Because I believe in Christ, I have an unction from the Holy One, and I know all things (1 John 2:20). So Father, I thank You now that I am moving exactly where You want me to be.
It is in Jesus Christ’s name I pray,
Amen.
