Recently, I received the news I wanted to avoid hearing. While this news concerned someone I cared for, it took me by surprise. For this reason, I began to resolve the issue and determine a resolution.
While I planned, wrote out steps, and thought of actions I desired to take, nothing seemed to work. As I drove to work the next workday, I remained in the car for a while, and God instructed me to open my Bible.
I did.
I landed on a scripture that reminded me nothing was impossible with Him.
I opened my Bible for the second time, and again—in another area and another section—the scripture stated the same thing.
I opened my Bible once more, and lo and behold! God led me to another area, reminding me that if I believe He can, nothing is impossible with Him! I knew He was speaking to me!
Here are the scriptures He revealed to me.
Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Mark 10:27 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”
Mark 9:23 “What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.”
I quickly opened my journal and wrote – “Nothing is Impossible with God!” And I wrote a prayer to Him.
Do you know that same day, God answered my prayer?
Not only did He do it, but He did it His way. All of my plans, actions, and thoughts were useless. God did not need my help!
He showed me that day, we must trust Him to work things out. He can do it. However, we must put our cares in His hands and seek Him first!
Prayer Starter:
God, I place my life in Your hands. You’re a Great and Almighty God. For this reason, I release this issue __ unto You. I ask now that You work it out. While it may be unexpected to me, nothing escapes Your eyes. For this reason, I thank You in advance for working it out. It’s in Jesus Christ of Nazareth’s name, I pray, Amen.
