Just recently, I was blessed to receive a major opportunity (at least it was major to me!). I was so excited, I shared the great news with everyone.
However, as time passed, it appeared the opportunity would no longer be available. As such, I was simply devastated. Therefore, I decided to surrender it to God. I prayed, “God, this is my desire but if You are closing this door, then God allow me to move on!”
Well, guess what? As soon as I let go, God stepped in! He opened the door wider than I could imagine. An opportunity that I thought was dead, God had been working it out the entire time on my behalf.
In that moment, I realized something major:
When God provides us with a certain promise, although it may tarry, it shall come to pass!
Stand on His promises
There is a passage in the Bible where it speaks about the death of Lazarus (John 11). While others thought of his death as the ultimate end, Jesus told Martha, Lazarus’ sister, “Your brother will rise again (John 11:23).” Now of course, she thought he meant on judgment day. However, God was promising that Lazarus would live again here on Earth!
God can do the impossible
Just like the death of Lazarus, sometimes we face situations that simply feels like there is no hope in the end. Sometimes we receive promises from God, but because of trials and tribulations that may appear, we simply give up. But do you know God can raise any situation from the dead?
See, you have to understand, God can work out everything for your good. Just like the scripture tells us, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).”
God has the perfect plan for you
And guess what? God does not need your help. He has a perfect plan for your life. Simply let your petitions be made known unto Him and surrender. Remember, whatever God has planned and purposed for your life, when you follow and trust Him, He will make certain you get all that He has for you! He will raise your situation from the dead!
Remember: God is waiting on you!
