This past weekend, my mom, my sister, my friends and family surprised me with the most amazing baby shower! My mom made sure that it was 1st class and not one thing was left undone! I thank God for my mom because she ALWAYS gives her best when it comes to me and she makes me feel so special!
And this past weekend, my sister did the same. For one of the games, guests has to guess how many candies were in the baby’s bottle and whoever came closest to the number was the winner. When it came time to announce the number of candies my sister said, “2,160 candies are in that bottle… I counted them all.”
For most people, I’m sure it didn’t mean anything. However, to me, it meant everything. It showed me how much she cared for me by focusing on the the smallest detail and it reminded me how our Heavenly Father has that same focus. Matthew 10:30 says “But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.” To show you how special you are to Him, He can call out the number of hairs on your head.
Do you know how many that is? We don’t but He does! Because like my sister, He took the time to count them all. Never forget how special you are to your family and friends but most importantly, to your God. For He has told us in His word that we are so special that He pays attention to the smallest details in our lives. It’s amazing when someone knows every single detail about you. Not because you constantly remind them but because you are so special to them that they pay attention to you.
