Mark 5:25-26
What are you dealing with today? Have you been suffering with an illness for a long period time? Have you tried medicines, doctors and others’ advice but instead of getting better you only grew worse? After trying all medicines, seeking the help of many doctors, and spending down to her last dime the woman in this passage decided she would then try Jesus!
Acknowledge your sins
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (James 5:16 KJV).
If you are suffering with an illness the first step in the healing process is to confess your sins and begin to pray. In our scripture, it states that we should confess our sins to one another and ask other believers to pray for our healing.
Bind it in heaven
Begin to bind your sickness on earth, declaring your sickness has been miraculously removed from your body. Declare it has been cast out of you from this very moment. For in God’s Word it says that whatsoever you bind here on earth it shall also be bind in heaven. (Matthew 18:18)
Declare you are healed!
Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise. (Jeremiah 17:14 KJV). Even if you are not up to it, begin to declare your body is healed. If your temperature is excessively high, declare it is normal. If your skin is disorderly, declare right now it is decent and in order! If your body is restless, declare it is at peace! Now declare and decree that at the end of this fast your body will be restored to its original default!
Daily prayer: Heavenly Father, we worship You in spirit and in truth. We thank You for all that You have done and for healing of our bodies. Lord, You have purposed us to do Your good works and we understand without the blessing of our health we are not able to achieve what You have purposed us to do. So therefore we thank You right now just as the Word says that our body has been restored and renewed according to Your Word. We declare our sickness is a thing of the past. We declare and envision our bodies’ skin, cells, tissues, organs, blood, hearts, kidneys, livers, and muscles have all aligned with the Word of God. We thank You for allowing us to rest easy today because we know it has already been done in Jesus name! Amen!
Reflection: What type of healing do you need from God? Have you received a bad doctors’ report? Is sickness and disease taking over your life? Today I instruct you to go to take time out in a quiet place to spend time with God. This could be at your home, work, or a nearby church. And just as the woman suffered with an issue of blood, kneel at the altar and vision yourself touching His hem. And declare you, your loved ones and friends are now being made whole.
