There is a fishing pier I enjoy going to in the morning to quietly reset my soul. Most times, I sit on the bench and rest quietly in this place. Often journaling and simply praying to God.
Recently, as I was starting my day, I had a chance to really take in the scene and look out into the water. Lo and behold, there were a total of not one but five alligators quietly moving underneath the pier. #scary
But as I left, I realized something. This is no different in life. When we are children of God, He is quietly protecting us from seen and unseen danger. If only you knew all the things God has protected you from.
When He quietly whispered, go another way.
When He closed a door because He knew what was on the other side.
When He brought a relationship to an unexpected end.
God knows.
His word promises us protection when we seek Him.
“Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.”

I pray as you go about this day, you are covered by the blood of Jesus of Christ.
God bless and take care!
