I can’t tell you enough the power of your speech. It is a weapon unbeknown to man. When we speak the universe listens. And it is true you shall have what you say!
If you want victory, you have to align your words with God’s. In Psalm 19:14 it reminds us that our words should be acceptable. This means uplifting, positive, and in agreement with the Word of God!
More importantly in Proverbs 18:21 it tells us death and life are in the power of the tongue!
Not aware of this power, I began to make a commitment to watch the words that came from my mouth. I have to tell you this was a change for me because I would say anything not realizing the ill effects it caused me for such a long period of time. Finally aware, I ask God to reverse all negative words that I spoke over my life and sought His forgiveness. Then I did a new thing…I began to declare the promises of God over my life!
And do you know what? There was a complete transformation that I couldn’t believe. I spoke over every area of my life. I even began to declare my credit card debt and small loans are cancelled and dissolved! And little by little I began to eliminate this debt.
Now understanding this practice I use the Word of God to fight all battles. I now understand the power of the tongue! It is a power that can lead to victory!
So, where are you in life? Did you get a bad doctor’s report? Declare you are being made whole! Don’t have enough money to make it? Declare your finances are abundant and you have more than enough! Desire success in your career? Declare your work is putting you before kings!
Whatever it is, put it into the atmosphere!
I now know the power of the tongue and stand on His promises daily. I challenge you…no I double dare you…speak over your life and you will see your life will never be the same!
