But the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you (John 14:26 AMP).
Father God, I come at your feet. I pray through the power of the Holy Spirit and ask the Holy Spirit to help me today. I ask the Holy Spirit to be my Comforter from all my past pains and hurts. Let not hurt overtake my heart, mind, body, or soul. I declare today that my mind is renewed (Romans 12:2), and I have the mind of Jesus Christ. I am free from all past hurts, as you are my Comforter. I ask the Holy Spirit that you advocate on my behalf- creating space for people to advocate here on Earth to allow things to operate in my favor. Holy Spirit, on this day, be my Intercessor. Please groan on my behalf and intercede for me.
Holy Spirit, pray the prayers I need today to live victorious in You. Holy Spirit – be my Counselor – so I no longer need to rely on the advice of family and friends but can listen to the still small voice. And if there is someone I need to talk to, I pray you to lead me to wise counselors and close the doors of wicked advice from misguided people. Isaiah 30:21 says we can hear the way to go – “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”
Holy Spirit, be my strength, making me strong enough to ride above the enemy’s attacks. Ephesians 6:10-17 reminds me to take on the full armor of God and stand! Exodus 14:13-14 reminds me that God will fight for me, and I shall only need to stand ye still and see the salvation of the Lord. But more importantly, the Holy Spirit will be my standby (John 14:26 AMP), Bailing me out of any situation that does not align with God’s purpose and calling for my life. Close doors that are not of God and make wide open the things of God that would glorify Your name in my life! Let every choice I make be led by the power of the Holy Spirit today and always. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen!
