If you live long enough, you will face disappointment on your journey. And while disappointments are inevitable, moving on and pushing through with God’s grace is essential. Psalm 31 reminds us that while we may face trials and tribulations our times are in the Lord’s hands.
Here are seven scriptures and prayers to help you face life’s disappointments.
God, allow me to have peace despite this disappointment.
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. (Isaiah 26:3 NIV)
Father God, you know what I am going through. I ask that You allow me to have perfect peace despite this disappointment. Please help me keep my mind on You at all times. Father God, I trust that You will get me through _________, and I will experience Your sweet victory here on Earth.
