I have to tell you, some time ago I made a commitment to wake up early. I mean really early – 5:30 daily to seek God first. And while I always have great intentions, there are some mornings that do not start the same. Today was one of those mornings!
The day just didn’t start right. My prayer time started later than I expected. I felt my prayer did not have as much zeal. After I finished my prayer time and speaking with my mother, I realized I can start all over again. So I did.
Wow.
Just a small thought.
But with a great big consequence.
And a simple principle that we can apply not only to one day, but to our lives.
Start. Start all over. Start from the beginning.
Knowing that you have another chance to get it right.
There will be times in life where the chips may not fall as you see fit. Or an outcome is simply not what you desired. Or a plan A now has to be replaced with a plan B.
But the great news is God is still here. He wants to start over with you. He wants to do a brand new thing in your life to give you a second chance.
So much so that He gave His only begotten son to die for our sins (John 3:16). He tells us in Isaiah 43:19 that He will do a new thing and it shall spring forth!
What about you? Do you need a new start?
It is only a prayer away. God is ready to do a new thing in your life.
Remember: God is waiting on you!
