A NO LEFT TURN SIGN! After I made the left (truth be told), I felt bad. Immediately I began to justify my actions. “But I go this way EVERY MORNING! It’s just not RIGHT to have to go all the way around having to get in more traffic when I can just make a left there.”
The Bible warns “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” (Proverbs 14:12) We may think we are right and are doing right, but when compared to God’s truth, some of the choices we make are not right at all. We base our decisions on what we personally feel and have countless reasons to justify our actions but what matters most is not what we think is right but what God says is right. I could choose to continue to be ignorant and keep making the left on Canal but I would lose the favor of God. He protected me from tickets and accidents because I didn’t know. But when we know better, God expects us to do better. Don’t ever let your mind think outside the word of God and choose the path that only “seems” to be right. Life is a choice. Choose consciously, choose wisely, choose honestly and you will carefully choose your destination.
