God can change things suddenly.
Despite your issues, your problems, your setbacks, God can do a new thing in your life.
No longer pray for your petitions as if it hasn’t come to pass, but begin to praise and thank God as if it has already happened!
Acts 16:25-26 states, “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.”
Praising Through Adversities
Paul and Silas were imprisoned for performing miracles in the name of Jesus Christ according to the scriptures (Acts 16:18).
Paul and Silas didn’t look at their current situation while in jail. They looked to the Great Almighty, who could change their circumstances. In spite of their adversities, they began to praise Jesus Christ with great power. The Bible tells us that their praises were so powerful that all of the prisoners heard their praises!
Suddenly
And then suddenly!
Suddenly, there was a great earthquake. Immediately, all the doors of the prison were opened and the bands of each prisoner were removed (Acts 16:25-26).
Suddenly, God moved in a powerful way.
The word suddenly is defined as something happening quickly. If you want God to move in your situation, praise Him in a powerful way and He will work on your behalf!
Remember Praises Equal Results
Just like Paul and Silas, you have power in your praise. Praising God will bring great results to your life.
Give thanks to God for what He CAN do for you. Praise HIM for keeping his promises. God’s Word does not fail and it does not return void.
And then suddenly, you will see your mountains leveled and your crooked places made straight.
