I challenge you today to show God’s love.
If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see?
(1 John 4:12)
Love.
If only we had more of it.
If only we saw others the way God sees us.
If only despite how we feel or what we believe, we showed God’s compassion and love.
Jesus stated in His Word that one of the greatest commandment is to love.
Jesus replied: “`Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: `Love your neighbor as yourself.’
(Matthew 22:37-39)
I challenge you in this very different time we face to love others as God loves.
To see beyond a person’s appearance.
To challenge close loved ones and friends who spread hate. Ask them to see others as God would see them.
Teach love to your children, those who look up to you, and those near you. It is only then; we will make our country and the world a better place!
Just spread God’s love!
