1. “I LOVE YOU.”
The first thing God wants to hear from us each day is simple: “Lord, I love You.”
Why? Because He first loved us.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” —John 3:16 (NKJV)
Today, tell God you love Him.
Then choose one person—a family member, friend, coworker—and tell them the same.
Speak love out loud.
Send the text. Make the call.
Love cleanses the heart.
2. “I APPRECIATE YOU.”
Take a moment and tell God, “Lord, I appreciate You.”
Appreciate the breath in your lungs.
Appreciate the roof, the food, the clothes, the peace, the protection, the grace.
Then look around:
Who has blessed you lately—even in a small way?
A kind gesture, an encouraging word, a sacrifice they made?
Tell them today: “I appreciate you.”
Appreciation uproots entitlement.
3. “THANK YOU.”
Say to God, “Father, thank You.”
Thank Him for keeping you as a child, for protecting you when you didn’t know danger was near, for the people who covered you, for the angels who shielded you, and for the doors He opened.
Then choose one person today and say, “Thank you.”
Gratitude softens the heart and shifts the atmosphere.
4. “PLEASE FORGIVE ME.”
We don’t get everything right.
So each morning, with humility, say:
“God, please forgive me.”
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
—1 John 1:9 (NKJV)
Then think:
Is there someone you need to ask forgiveness from?
A misunderstanding? A harsh response? A delay? A broken promise?
Humility heals.
5. “GOD, I FORGIVE YOU.”
You may wonder why this is necessary.
But many people hold secret disappointment in their hearts toward God.
Why did You let this happen?
Why did they hurt me?
Why didn’t You stop this?
Though God never wrongs us, sometimes our hearts perceive Him through pain.
So say it today:
“God, I release You from the expectations I placed on You. I trust You again.”
This frees the heart from silent offense.
6. “TODAY, I WILL GLORIFY YOU.”
Speak this each morning:
“Lord, today I choose to glorify You in everything I do.”
In your finances.
Your conversations.
Your relationships.
Your decisions.
Your work.
Your attitude.
Even when you don’t get it perfect, your intentional pursuit of His glory pleases Him.
Then ask one person today:
“How can I serve you?”
Serving shifts the heart from self-focus to God-focus.
7. “HOLY SPIRIT, SHOW ME WHAT TO DO.”
The final daily statement is a surrender:
“Holy Spirit, show me what to do today.”
Show me where to go.
What to say.
How to respond.
Who to bless.
Who to encourage.
How to steward this day.
The Holy Spirit will guide your mouth, your thoughts, your decisions, and your interactions.
