As I read a recent headline that a NFL player was cut from a team, all I could think was as a Christian, how many times I’ve messed up on God’s team. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve been hurt and I’ve hurt others. I haven’t always obeyed the plays from my coach BUT THANK GOD that He didn’t cut me! He didn’t kick me off the team! Ephesians 4:30 tells me that I am sealed unto the day of redemption! I am saved! So, for God I will do my best! I will perform! I will run the race that is set before me but I will not worry when I mess up because I will mess up BUT NOTHING will be able to separate me from the love of God. My salvation is eternally secure!
