My niece came over to our house last night. She’s a ball of constant energy so it’s never a dull moment when she’s there. I love it when she comes! I have a container full of nail polishes so we often end up polishing our nails when she visits. Well last night, she wanted to polish her own nails. I let her do it and I watched her as she put one coat on, another coat on then took the polish remover and removed all the polish. She repeated this process again as I stood over her and saw her getting frustrated. Finally, she looked up to me and said, “This is a mess! Teedy, can you help me?”
Have you ever looked at things you’ve done in your life and thought, “this is a mess!” You tried to handle that situation on your own. You tried to deal with those disappointments on your own. You tried to solve that problem on your own only to sit back and realize that you just created your own mess! The good news is you are not in that mess by yourself! We all have had our messy moments but no matter the mess, big or small, we have a God who watches over us and will help us. He just wants us to ask Him.
Isaiah 1:18 says “Come now, let us settle the matter, says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow…”
We don’t have to experience life on our own creating our own messes. Go to Your Father and ask Him to help you. He would love to Help you! He’s waiting on you to ask Him and in the end, I guarantee He will make a MESSage out of your mess!
