Recently, I had to take my pup to the vet for a checkup. The doctor was amazed at how great she looked for her age. She’s almost 11 but she’s very vibrant! The vet told me that she looks very well taken care of and my pup obviously has no worries! I said, “Worries?!?!” She has none because she gets EVERYTHING she needs.
The Lord used that visit to speak clearly to me. If we would only have that same mindset and know that whatever it is that we need, we too don’t have to worry because just like you do for your pet, I will do even more for you! “Therefore do not worry, saying “what shall we eat?” or “what shall we drink? or “what shall we wear?” For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your Heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:31-33) So, the next time you’re tempted to worry about anything…DON’T! Go run and get your ball, wag your tail and know that your needs will be supplied! Because you have an owner who loves you!!
