When I was pregnant, the question was frequently asked, “Are you ready?”
Quite often, people also ask the following questions: Are you ready to get back into your old clothes? Are you ready to not get any sleep ever again for the rest of your life? LOL
I was never offended when someone asked me these questions. In fact, depending on the person asking, the question can really turn into a very funny conversation.
But what is not amusing is that many of us, if not all of us, at least one season in our lives, try to rush God’s process.
As tempting as it may be, believers shouldn’t rush God’s work in our lives because when we rush, we mess things up. When we rush to the future, we miss out on all of the great things God is allowing to happen in our present.
Everything that happens in our lives is according to God’s will and is a vital part of the process. So, to get to it, we have to go through it! Hebrews 6:15 is a great scripture that tells us that after Abraham patiently endured, he obtained the promise. God will fulfill His promise to you. So you don’t have to rush it! Whatever is meant to be in your life will be at its appointed time. Endure patiently and commit to going through the process! God knows our destiny and all of the details that will purposely direct us there. When the time is right, it’ll happen. It’s not a rush order, but know it will be fulfilled on time!
