A few years ago, I decided to start my business. During this time, I continued (and still do) ask God to show me what direction to take. He instructed me to have a paperless office, scan each document, and save it to my server. And I did. Had I not completed this small but powerful task, it would have been difficult for me to continue my operations within the past few weeks.
And while this is a small thing, it does encourage me to continue to ask God concerning every decision.
As I opened my Bible this morning, I came across this scripture:
Jeremiah 33:3 – Call upon me, and I will show thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not.
As we go through a very different time in our lives today, I encourage you to call upon Him. There are some things He will tell you to do and not to do during this time. You must seek Him first daily and adhere to His instructions. Before making any decision concerning your finances, health, business, relationships, or any other matter, ask Him to lead and guide you.
Here are a few powerful verses that can help you during this time:
- Isaiah 30:21 – And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
- Psalm 23:1 – A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
- Psalm 14:2 – There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.
