Have you ever wanted something so bad from God that you found yourself anxiously awaiting? Each day, you thought about receiving it and you literally neglected everything else.
Be Consistent While You Wait on God
No matter which life stage you are in, you have to stay consistent in God’s Word. Being consistent requires daily devotion, studying God’s Word, and obeying His commandments. You should aim to live in constant joy whether God has answered your prayers or has delayed it for another time.
Bible Scriptures About Consistency
1 Corinthians 15:58: Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
Galatians 6:9: Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Ask For His Peace While You Wait
Not only should you be consistent, but you should cast all of your burdens upon Him while waiting. If you’re waiting for God to move in your family finances, business, relationships, or life in general, ask Him for peace. Remember, He is our Jehovah Shalom, the God of Peace.
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 KJV).
Remember that God promises to bless you if you remain steadfast in His word. Also, He tells us His Word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11). So know this, despite your anxious feelings at this moment, God WILL WORK IT OUT FOR YOU if you continue to pray and study His Word!
