Have you ever wanted peace so badly that you did not really understand how to obtain it? You prayed, fasted, and sought after God, but the peace of God that passed all understanding simply seemed to miss your dwelling? If you have been in a place where it simply seems impossible to obtain His peace, know you can have His peace today.
Stay under His covering to find peace
In Psalm 91:1, it tells us that if we remain in the secret place of the most High, we shall remain under His shadow. This is a reminder that we don’t have to move ahead of God. In His secret place, He has given us life, peace, joy and direction, but the key is remaining under His shadow.
Move at His pace to maintain peace
Therefore, while the world may entice you to move forward with your own plans and agenda, God reminds us to be still and only move at His pace. It is here where you will be able to obtain all that God has for you and maintain your peace.
Get your peace back!
So what about you? Have you found yourself traveling through life on “autopilot?” Has your peace been stolen by the devil? Make a conscious decision today, to just let anything go that has taken your peace. Stay under His covering and trust Him. It is in this place we are able to obtain the peace we may desire.
