One of the hardest things for us to do as a Christian is to trust God. Someone this week told me it’s actually a cliche. I understand their reasoning as to why they would feel that way but that’s why trusting God is much more than a matter of words, it’s a matter of will.
You see trusting Him is all up to you! If you don’t believe that God will do much, then He won’t. But if you trust Him to do something in your life, you have to cut off your logic, override your thoughts, close your eyes to what you see and completely TRUST HIM. You may say, “I’ve done that and nothing is happening.” But something is happening! He wants to see if you will still trust Him even if He doesn’t move when you think He should move. When He’s silent and still, He’s actually growing your faith! He stretches us to trust Him more. As you advance in your walk with Him the tests are designed to get harder. But you have all of your material from the past to review and see how He brought you through!
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path. God loves you! He wants to help you! He will help you! He knows the best plan for your life! Relinquish your control and trust Him to take control. Stop trying to figure it out and trust God to work it out! Even when you don’t believe in Him, He still believes in you!
