Stop trying to do it on your own. God tells us in His Word that He is here to help! Not in some things, but in all things!
Not convinced?
Let’s look at what the Word tells us:
- The Lord is my helper (Hebrews 13:6)
- My help comes from the Lord (Psalm 121:2)
- God is our very present help in the time of trouble (Psalm 46:1)
- When we call upon Him, He will answer and deliver us from trouble (Psalm 91:15)
The Word makes it clear. Whatever help we need today, we can call upon the Lord. He promises not only to hear us, but to answer and deliver us from whatever we are facing.
You know, I have to tell you something.
There are many times I face certain situations that may seem like nothing can be done. But I am a living witness that each and every time, after I call out to God, He not only comes through but He does an amazing thing in my life.
So today, I want to tell you whatever you are facing, ask Him for help. Whether it is an unexpected illness, a relationship that has taken a turn for the worse, a financial need that is beyond your limited funds, a horrible day on the job, or you just simply don’t know which way to turn, call upon Him. He tells us in Jeremiah 33:3 that He will show you great things which you do not know.
So where are you getting your help from today? Don’t “phone a friend.” Call upon the Great Almighty God! He will answer your call each and every time!
