As an employee, your employer offers a variety of benefits, such as life insurance, health care assistance, and paid time off. But have you ever thought about God’s even better benefit plan? During my quiet time, God revealed all of His great benefits to me recently. Here are just some of the benefits God provides!
1. He sent His son to die for me so I can live with Him for eternity (John 3:16).
2. He heals all diseases (Psalm 103:3).
3. He doesn’t reward me according to my iniquities (Psalm 103:1).
4. He holds no good thing from me (Psalm 84:11).
5. He delivers me from all my destruction (Psalm 107:6).
6. He renews my spirit and creates within me a clean heart (Psalm 51:10).
7. He allows goodness and mercy to follow me every day of my life (Psalm 23:6).
8. He provides blessings upon my life (Deuteronomy 28:1-14).
9. He makes my crooked places straight (Isaiah 45:2).
10. He gives me the great victory through Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57).
11. He protects me from all harm, hurt, and danger (Psalm 91).
12. He works all things out for my good (Romans 8:28).
13. He sets me in high places (Psalm 18:33).
14. He makes all my impossible situations possible through Him (Luke 1:37).
15. He makes me whole (Mark 5:34).
16. He washes my sins away (Psalm 51:2).
17. He purifies and cleanses me with the blood of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 9:14).
18. He provides peace in all circumstances (Isaiah 26:3-4).
19. He gives me strength in times of trouble (Isaiah 41:10).
20. He provides all of my needs (Philippians 4:10).
21. He gives me divine wisdom (James 3:17).
Take time today to make these “benefit pointers” personal by doing the following:
* Declare each statement out loud.
* Read the scripture reference.
* Thank and praise God for each benefit. For example, “God, I praise you for giving me divine wisdom!” |
